Father and son, Joe and Dylan Steffey have recreated some classic characters to haunt their Halloween cemetery display.
Paying homage to the monster that started horror movies for Universal Studios, Joe created this seven-foot tall static figure from reference photos of Boris Karloff’s portrayal of Frankenstein’s monster.
Working together, Joe and Dylan also created a full-size incarnation of the legendery Hat Box Ghost from Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion. The static prop glows thanks to UV-reactive paint and black lights.
Dylan sculpted the ghost’s face and head.
With sharp eyes, you might spot other Disney-inspired spooks in the cemetery.
